What if a group of people made some big audacious goals to make the world a better place for everyone and the whole world agreed to do their part to make those goals a reality? Well you'd have the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) are 17 goals set by the United Nations to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity as part of a global sustainable development plan.
Each goal has specific targets to be achieved by 2030. Governments, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and the general public are all doing their part to build a better future for everyone.
Because extreme poverty is multidimensional - measured beyond just income, CHOCIE Humanitarian is working on several SDGs. We are focusing on the goals that relate to our focus areas.
But you don't have to be an international nonprofit organization to do your part! You can become a member of The Village and your monthly support will reinforce all the SDGs we work in to improve the lives of over 10,000 villagers daily.
Join our movement to End Extreme Poverty by joining The Village, and supporting over 1,000 villagers with your monthly contribution.
