Water for Nepal - MAY 24-JUNE 4, 2018 

 Nestled between China and India in southern Asia, Nepal boasts the greatest altitude variation on earth. From sea-level lowlands to towering Himalayan peaks, this charming nation attracts world travelers with its majestic landscapes, vibrant traditions, and warm embraces of spirited Nepalese natives.

Accommodations

Participants will be camping in several classrooms while based in Guansahar. Latrine toilets available. 

 


 

Fees

Expedition Only

Adult: $2650, Student: $2250 (International Airfare NOT Included) / Additional $50 discount per person if complete fee is paid upfront with submission of application and $300 trip deposit.

*rates include hotel accommodations, certified group leaders, village lodging, village meals, in-country flight to Pokhara, breakfast while in Pokhara, tour fees, and local transportation.

Flight Requirements

Arrival

*Thursday, May 24: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu before 11pm (reserve personal travel for after the expedition)

Departure

*Monday, June 4: Transportation will be provided to Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) for flight departures at your scheduled convenience. 

Be sure to check/purchase international flights as soon as possible. It is strongly recommended that all travelers arrive on the designated expedition start date and reserve personal travel for after scheduled activities.

Lindsey Robb moved to the big city of Los Angeles from the small town of Las Cruces, New Mexico to launch a new education program. Lindsey completed her master’s degree in music education from Brigham University and still maintains a small studio of violin and piano students. Her diverse experience extends from being a high school orchestra director to the CEO and largest co-owner of a national franchise for a fitness and leadership program. She has traveled with SHe and Choice on four expeditions in the last two years. Her passions are tacos, poke, wake-surfing, snowboarding, group fitness, travel, and of course the BBC verion of Sherlock Holmes.

Next Steps

  • Send in completed Application + Medical form for all participants (ASAP/Aug 15)
  • Pay initial $300 deposit per/person  (ASAP/Aug 15)
  • Send in a copy of your passport
  • Coordinate/book flight - Send us a copy as soon as this is booked.
  • Secure Travel/Evac Insurance - Send in a copy and confirmation. You will find info regarding this on page 9-10 of the attached expedition manual.
  • Attend trip orientation/cultural night! TBD 8 weeks prior to departure. Details to follow.
