CHOICE Completed the First Post-Earthquake
School Compliant with New Government Regulations in the Entire Country of Nepal
Many national stories have focused on the India oil embargo and slow response times from the Nepali government and how those have adversely affected the rebuilding of Nepal in the year since the worst earthquake in their history.
Despite those 2 factors, CHOICE and our partners doTERRA International, the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, and Meridian Magazine, along with numerous expeditioners, and our Nepal staff have built: 550 desks, 200 temporary homes, 20 new earthquake resilient homes, have 2 schools under construction and 3 expected to be completed this year.
But, the most exciting accomplishment is that, with the help of doTERRA International and the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, we have built the only school in the entire country since the devastating earthquake that is compliant with the Nepali Division of Education agreement that follows all of the structural post-earthquake guidelines specified by the government.
The formal inauguration of the Shree Sanskriti Sadan Secondary School with representatives from CHOICE, doTERRA International, the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, and the Nepali Division of Education
Building an earthquake resilient school is a big accomplishment, but we are not stopping there. We are working to re-establish micro enterprises, providing tuition scholarships to hundreds of children, and the most important is the CHOICE leadership development training model to make all of your contributions and efforts in Nepal sustainable.
We have many partners and we are so grateful to all of them! Currently, Meridian Magazine is helping raise funds dedicated to rebuilding Nepal. doTERRA International will match all funds up to $100,000! You can help that become $200,000!
